The male worried her. She couldent tell if he was part of the clan or the inturder. All of a sudden she smelt the inturder and bolted off the a howl of rage. It was a male and he was already across the borders. Her hackles bared angrily as she flew across the ground Ok so he wasent sappose to be here but oh well he would live. His butterscotch pelt gleamed in the sunlight as he draged the deer towards the terra he belonged to. The Darkmoons usally kept to them self and he wasent bothering them what so ever. He stoped and snarled as he heard running. He droped his prey and got in a defensive pose just as a black female lept from the trees. Karma: 0 Re: Patroling the border « Reply #16 on Aug 7, 2007, 1:53pm » “Get out.” The scent of the sandy-colored intruder was heavy on the Alpha’s nose, which was currently bunched and curled in a defensive manner, mimicking the other male’s as he stood protectively over the prey that was not rightly his. His scent was that of Equinox; the vengeful wolves who rivaled the pack of Rook and Jaero, The Sokos. Personally, he wanted nothing to do with either of the packs, and thus, allowing them into the Darkmoon Territory was not only contradictory to his beliefs, but if he did so, he would be a hypocrite. There was to be none of that, and therefore, he continued to stand strong, ears back, gums bared, hackles raised, and tail erect, to show dominance—not an air that he gave off much. However, he wouldn’t have to handle the male alone, and he was not responsible for finding him. For, from the trees, leapt a shade of black; Nightmare, no doubt. The Omega. She had been on top of everything? Watching the male’s every move until the time was right? Excellent. She had upped her chances once more. Capturing intruders in the act was a great feat, and for the Omega, it deserved praise. “Good work, Nightmare.” He breathed, without much emotion, his focus still on the Equinox male who still stood protectively, now even more alert since the black figure of the Darkmoon member had leapt from the trees. There was still another intruder in the area, he knew, but they carried no distinct scent, and he knew the reputation of the Equinox Clan far better than that of any individual, and still the newer Deltas in the pack were on the trail of whomever it was. Hopefully, the small group of females knew how to stall a possible enemy long enough for him to reach them: should he be able to handle this other male quickly. Still with his head low towards the ground, and his features unwavering from the first moment he had seen the stranger, he spoke once more, although, this time it was not so much to praise another. During this bit, he questioned the male’s purpose for being here. “Is there not enough to eat where you come from, male?” He barked, demanding an answer without hesitation. Surely, the Equinox pack was fed well enough, and even so, it was unlikely that the Alpha of said Clan would send out one single creature to do the hunting in unknown land. It was simply foolish; the Darkmoon Pack had nothing to hold against the affairs of Equinox. Though, hunting on his turf could certainly help lend a knife to a new rope. Whatever the case, Jenga was not pleased with the intrusion. Commotion was not accepted here, it never was. But if he had to, he would drive any unwanted guests off. He then turned to the large female who had lept from the trees. "So you finally caught up to me" he hissed with a wink. He flicked his tail and sneeze then adjusted himself over the young deer. "I caught this prey where no wolves but the homeless live" he hissed. "I was just passing through to me home" he snarled Nightmear snarled and bared her hackles as she came up beside her leader "He lies my lord. The deer carrys the scent of the darkmoon lands and he's been here for sometime it just took me awhile to track him" she said respectfully. Her spirts rose when she heard his praise. She lifted one ear in case the to deltas need help with the crazy male. "My lord there's a crazy male that the deltas are with. She would just have to hunt hers later. She followed the black one as she raced through the trees of the Darkmoon land. Finaly she stopped,a s did the other, and was met by the Alpha. She did no know his name, bu she had heard of him. She tried to keep her tail down, but she was excited, a deer was better than a lamb. She snarled as her hackles rose once more. The blonde one was not of their pack at all. Her bown optics now emitted hate, and she took a step closer, daring the yellow male to come closer. This would cause him to be in more trouble. His laughter stopped and his lips pulled back into a wide, rather frightening grin. “Wolffins thar be running to places other! Us’ns is to be viewings what thar be so greatness?” His legs wiggled slightly as he rocked his body gain momentum, and in one surge of muscles he was standing again, his tongue assuming its position hanging from his mouth. He stood baffled for a bit; unsure of what was so fantastic that they ran off so quick? Maybe it was pups? No…maybe food? Yes! Food! Food made him happy. But so did water. Did they find water! Oh boy! His gray-green eyes seemed to loop into glee as his laugh sounded again. “Wolffins of small thar be nots! Wolffins of one and one and one of sooted fuzz thar be nonboys going to be viewings the meats!” He started to chase after them, more so just to follow them. He wasn’t hungry in the least bit; but he was excited over it none the less. He seemed to be like a kid in a candy store until…he noticed the branch he had drug out from the forest again. In another millisecond he began to growl and snap. His lips curling back to extend his teeth at it. Oh what a tricky tree limb it was! It though it could trick him into leaving it! “AHAHAHAHA...HOHOHO…HA. Thar be nuffins of the ones of the leaders of the steeks is to be doings to makes us runses aways! We doods it! We doods it by us’elves!” He started to circle the branch again, pouncing and snapping at the inanimate object as he did. Once again he became satisfied that the leader of the sticks was defeated and pranced off with a bounce in his steep after the others. “One and one and one of nonboys of woffins of sooted fuzz is being in viewings of nongirls of one and one! Ohohoho! Pack of woffins of fives!” His hysteria kicked in again, this time soft hacking sound coming from deep within as though he were choking on his amusement. Sure this probably wasn’t the best place to be, but he wasn’t exactly the bright little ray of sunshine, now was he? Paramnesia’s eyes went from one, to another, to another. His eyes fixing on each wolf and in turn laughing that much harder. It added to his laughing fit that they were all in attack mode, hackles raised and teeth bared. Apparently these fools knew nothing! wolffins eateds of thar ones to be the leadings that we has slaining! Lots of much of foodstuffs!” He seemed oblivious that he and the other male did not belong; which was entirely the truth. He was not paying one speck of attention as to where he was, or who each wolf was. With what he thought was a seemingly brilliant idea he turned and walked back to the giant branch which he grasped and pulled at growing softly. Before his laughter kicked in again. “We doods it! We givings thar woffins foodstuffs!” Paramnesia seated himself with a wide smile of self satisfaction. He really was still that great warrior after all! That meant his lamb was free! She began to work her way back to the meat, but remembered she had a duty to do! She muttered some unsavory words and moved back to her spot. She sighed, bored already, but kept standing with her upper lip in a tight snarl in case anything came near her without permission. (My muse is crap! Sorry for the short post!)
