Are you strong enough, and willing enough to hunt for the pack? Yes.
Your Wolf's Name Sheki
Quick Summary of Personality Sheki is the kind of wolf that stands out in a crowd, for one her gleaming white pelt is unusual, and for two she has one hell of an attitude problem. Sheki tends to demand respect from everyone, no matter what she will always demand that others respect her, even if it must be forceful, but once you get to know Sheki you might find her easier to get along with, and less dominate. She will attack others wolves that believe themselves to be higher rank then her, even if it's not her own pack. She tends to let her pride get the better of her, for whats life worth living if it means throwing away your pride? Thats one rule she lives her life by, and even though it might sound stupid, she's lived that way ever sense she was a pup, and many times it almost got her killed.
Wished Position Beta Female
Quick Scenario You are in the desert. The sun is beating down on your back, and there is only a thin layer left on your pads. Now that your paws are bleeding badly, you can think of only two things. ‘I need water, and I have to get out of here.’ You have a young pup traveling with you. He seems too kept on getting further and further behind. You are tempted to turn around and get him, but you know that will only waste time. What do you do? Do you leave him, or do you go back to claim the adopted pup? Make your choice wisely; there are lives on the line.
Sheki continued walking, her pace was ever slowing, and her pads left a bloody trail, in which the pup seemed to fallow. She growled slightly, her tongue rolled out of the side of her mouth, and she quickly glanced back to see where he was. "That damn pup, if he would have just listened to me, then we wouldn't be in this situation." Sheki took a deep breath, trying to calm herself down, and looked back at the young one. He was having trouble keeping up, and she really didn't have the time to waste going back for him, but she couldn't just leave him alone to die, no she'd have to go back and retrieve him, even if it did cost time.
The white fea quickly took off at a sprint, heading in the pups direction. The stabbing pain in her paws made her wince, but she could put that aside for now, and deal with it later, right now what worried her was the ever rising sun, and with it the killer heat. Sheki continued her brisk pace, but it almost seemed like she was getting farther away from the pup, rather then closer. Suddenly the small body of fur fell to the ground, and Sheki's worst fears we're befalling before her eyes. She quickly reached down and picked the pup in her jaws, upon reaching his now lifeless body.
Sheki held him carefully, and then once more took off at a run, but this time it was much slower. She hadn't realized how much energy it had taken out of her to go back, but there was no quitting now, she was responsible for not only her life, but the life of this pup, and she'd be damned to let him die here. The white fea hurried over to what appeared to be a cactus plant. She had seen many of them in this desert before, but it had only now dawned on her how useful they could be. Sheki quickly sat the pup down on the ground, but pushed him underneath her body, so that he could have some shade. She then began to looked over the plant, trying to find a way past it's sharp needles, but with no avail.
Sheki sat there quietly, trying to think, but the heat from the suns rays seemed to only fry her brain even more. Then finally it was decided. If she was ever going to make it out of here alive with the pup, then they'd need water, and her only option was to recover it from this plant. Sheki growled slightly, and slowly lifted her black lips into a snarl, reveling the inch long fangs beneath. She then stood up from her sitting position, and with a quick forward movement sunk her fangs deep within the cactus. The sharp needle like thorns stabbed into her mouth from all directions, and she could feel a small trickle of blood running down her maw, but with it water.
Sheki continued growling though her pain, and quickly pushed her for-paws against the plant in order rip out of a chunk. The thorns upon impact with her paws stabbed though them, and the amount of pain she felt was almost unbearable, but once more she had to go on. Giving up at this point would only mean all her pain was vain, and that neither of the two would ever see, or smell the sweet scent of fresh water again. So to her, it was quite clear that wasn't an option. Within a few seconds the plant slowly started to separate from the piece she had locked between her jaws, and within a minute it was free'd.
Sheki's body collapsed on the ground, but she made sure that she fell out of the range of the pup, there for keeping him safe. The white fea quickly retrieved her senses, and slowly made her way closer to the bundle of fur laying on the ground. She reached her muzzle out, and touched it lightly against him, soon after she dropped the piece of cactus on the ground in front of him. Sheki smiled slightly, and awaited for the pup to wake up, but to her disappointment he didn't. She finally managed to get up, and picked the piece of cactus up within her jaws. Taking a small chunk of it, she then used her muzzle to push it between the pups small teeth, hoping he'd bite down on it, and feel the flow of water.
After about three minutes finally the young one started to show signs of recovery, and hungrily chewed on the cactus plant, as did Sheki. The pain in her mouth and paws was starting to numb, mainly because on each edge of the thorns there we're tiny drops of harmless poison, that in time would cause the wound to swell, making it relatively painless. The white fea rose back off her haunches, and then looked up at the sun. From what she could tell it would soon be sunset, and with that cold. She would need to did a den for her and the pup to sleep in during the night, that way they'd stay plenty warm, but before she could rest she'd need to find a decent source of water, her body wouldn't be able to take many more injuries like those she had sustained from the cactus plant.
Sheki soon started licking her paws, finding that thinking about them only made the amount of pain come back, even though they we're already numb. She let out a sigh, and then summoned up enough energy to start moving on again. It would save time, if she could find an old coyote hole, but most likely she wouldn't. Sheki looked back at the pup, her yellow orbs quickly scanning over him to see wither he'd be able to keep up this time or not, but most likely he'd be okay.
The wind was now starting to pick up, sand was blowing in the air harshly, and they'd have to hurry if they we're ever going find shelter before night time. Sheki bit down on her lower lip, something she usually did when being stressed. The white fea looked around some, not being able to see more then a few feet in front of her face, this spot would have to do. Sheki quickly dug her claws into the ground, and started to dig. Even though it would usually take around a few days to make a perfect den, she only had a matter of minutes before both of them would be buried deep within the sand.
Sheki growled lightly to herself, and then called to the pup telling him to come here, which he did eagerly. She looked down at him, and then said, "Look here, I need you to help me dig.". Sheki found that if you say something simple to a pup then they'd usually understand rather then if you tried to explain every little thing, and reason. Soon within about 15 minutes they had dug a decently sized hole in the ground, even though it wasn't very deep, it was long and large enough to occupy the two bodies.
Sheki allowed the pup to get in first, she fallowed soon after, but that way if anything was wrong, she'd be the closes to the exit, and could deal with it without putting the pup in danger. The white fea slowly eased her body to the ground, it was true by now she was exhausted, and needed some sleep, but by the time night fall would be upon them, she'd have to get up, and search for a decent water source, so right now the most important thing was getting enough rest before then, and making sure the pup was okay before she left. "Hmm... I wonder if he has a name." It was just now dawning on Sheki that the pup had never told her his name, or rather she hadn't asked, but for now she supposed it didn't matter.
ooc. If you want I can continue it, but I just didn't want to make it too long.

Your Wolf's Name: Tora
Quick Summary of Personality: From his bio: "Honor, loyalty, pride, power, grace, arrogance… So many words that can be given to a simple beast, but above all is the honor. He holds to his word once given it is written in stone; it is forever. A beast of his word, a beast of the earth. He is strong in will, and even stronger in body. His loyalty once attained is unfaltering, but betrayal is synonymous with instant death. He will not stand for it.
His arrogance is not simply that, it is a sublime self-confidence well placed in his tried and true capabilities. He is a beast born to be a leader, with the cool headed logic of a general, and the charisma of an emperor, and yet he knows enough to bow to the whims of his betters in the hierarchy of the pack, though he only does so with the greatest of dignity.
A beast through and through, violence is not an unknown and he will defend the line of a territory to the bitterest of ends, against man, wolf, and other unknowns alike. Once claimed, a protective possessiveness sets it, and he will not stop. Once his, it is his for eternity."
Wished Position: Whichever you deign to give him.
Quick Scenario: A pair of ears that stood to full attention atop the sharp slope of a heavy head swiveled and turned in agitated harmony, though the wolf’s face was as blank as the wall of brittle stone beside him. Behind the large beast’s back paws his companion (Though, he thought flatly, he is more of a charge than company.) lay with his belly flat against the cold stone and ice: Shivering like a pup in it’s first winter. Then again, he figured the youth could be no more than a year old, so perhaps the assessment wasn’t far off. Tora turned his head to cast a weary glance back at the young male, taking in his frost coated appearance, and the way that ice clung it his lashes. He, himself, was decorated in small spits of ice but his greater will kept him on his paws; the younger male wasn’t so lucky.
The acerbic tang of blood lilted into the big male’s nose, and he knew it was coming from the younger’s cracked and bloody paw pads. It was not easy going on any wolf.
"Oh the m-moon and s-stars abuh-above." Came a voice through the clattering and clenching of sharp teeth. Tora tilted his ears back to listen to the weary youngsters words. "It’s so v-very c-c-cold…"
"Hmm." The large male agreed absently, his ears flicking once more as he heard the barest shift in the snow field before him, the sound of fresh snow over the tighter packed stuff beneath it. It made him uneasy, and a chill of premonition sparked along the nerves in his spine. He didn’t like it. He could, of course, leave the young male to his fate and pick his way through the steep slope to safety, but that didn’t sit well with him.
An imperceptible sigh ghosted through his lips as he turned to the shivering male laid out behind him, carefully maneuvering his large paws to turn his corded body around. He paced the brittle edge of the narrow walk way along the youngster’s side reaching the area behind the male only to turn once more, he strode carefully to stand beside the prone body. Eyeing the edge that he walked with narrowed golden eyes, he contemplated the possible fall before shrugging it off with an innate fearlessness. Turning his head he lowered his powerful body alongside the other male, his jaws snaking out to grab hold of the other’s scruff, pulling the loose skin away from the muscle beneath as he tugged the youngster off the ground with sheer brute force. The other wolf was so far into the depths of the cold’s clutches that he only whined feebly at the rough treatment.
Once Tora had gotten him up enough that his fore legs were off the ground he released the male’s scruff and ducked under him with a sudden swift move allowing the other wolf to fall across his back. Standing with a slight sway, a few loose bits of the cliff edge crumbling and falling with soft clattering sounds Tora paced forward, his eyes narrowed in determination as he stepped out onto the snow pack cautiously. He’d get himself and his charge out of this mess, see if he didn’t…
By his telling the pair of them were about half way across this particular slope. Behind him a lengthy trail of paw prints dirtied the pristine white. The sun was slowly sinking toward the far horizon causing a massive shadow of the two wolves to be thrown against their rising white backdrop. His rib cage heaved as his tongue dangled from his broad jaws, panting despite the cold that was lingering father down the scale with each passing moment. One golden eye flicked to the side to stare at the descending fiery mass, the gleam making his amber eyes look like molten liquid.
He just knew that if they didn’t find shelter by the time all light fled the sky, they’d be dead by it’s return.
The grim thought seemed to propel the male from his stupor, and with a grunt he jerked his front left paw heavily out of the snow pack, setting it down and watching as the limb succumbed to the cold grasp of the snow. However, instead of like all his other steps before his foot didn’t stop. Before he’d always felt his paws hit the tough, almost frozen solid snow beneath the top layer. The top had always given away easily, letting him sink to the rock like under layer, but here…
Tora clenched his teeth, there was a crack in the pack beneath the snow, and his paw was half sunk into it. He balanced on three legs, carefully and with utmost care he studied his sunken forepaw. There was a low grumble from the snow pack as the crack lengthened and widened minutely. Tora’s pupils shrunk inside his irises leaving his eyes to seem like nothing more that gold pools. He took in a ragged breath, slapping his teeth together so hard he drew blood from the scrape of them on his slick gums. Tora’s hackles bristled as he listened to the slow grumble of the snow tearing apart like distant thunder, growing louder like a bestial growl.
His face blanked from the look of realization and perhaps a hint of fear into his usual blank mask. He jerked his paw backward from the crack with a swift movement, and with a snarl he hefted his weight along with the unconscious males forward in a lunging jump. The other wolf slid a bit to the side, as the big male landed; full weight on all for paws, and Tora swayed to keep him on his back. Despite the movement of his body he could not miss the sudden jerk of the piece of snow pack under his large paws coming apart from the rest of the icy covering. It was like the earth suddenly trying to get from beneath him, like a rabbit fighting it’s death at his teeth.
Tora’s jaws parted as a shocked yelp was torn from his throat without his consent, his claws scrabbling for purchase as the piece began to fracture within itself, the loose powder on top starting to fall away as it began to inch downward. With a shuddering jarring crunch the bit of snow pack impacted with the chunk beneath it, and held. Tora, however, could practically hear the way the added weight started to make the snow pack crumble. The whole side of the mountain was going to start crawling, and Tora really didn’t want to be on it when it did.
The large male’s head swiveled toward the slope on the upper side, and if he’d been human Tora may have paled at the sounds emitting from the snow pack in that direction. Without the chunk beneath it the above pieces were protesting, unable to hold together now that they had fractured, and the whole thing was going to crumple soon. Tensing his legs Tora threw himself forward in an undignified scrabble across the sliding snow, his charge slipped a little further to the side, but Tora dared not stop to correct the dangling bodies placement. He couldn’t.
He’d just made it off the bit he’d been standing on when the one beneath it gave way, and with a tremendous, groan the whole thing started to inch, and by the feeling in his paws the bit farthest down was already starting to crawl, and pick up speed. Golden eyes wide enough to show the white’s Tora concentrated on a ridge of stone, heaving his heavy body across the deteriorating snow pack with efficient speed. Another lunging leap, and his front paws hit solid rock with a clatter of claws, his charge sliding off his back to smack his head against the cliff side. Behind him a clout of snow thudded against his haunches, and he gritted his teeth against the painful feeling.
It felt like a pile of rocks had landed on his haunches!
Dragging himself forward, hind legs flattened to the stone the big male collapsed, draped over his charge, his tongue hanging out as he panted, and his eyes rolling wearily in his head. Snow roared down the mountain behind him, he having just made it off of the pack before it went down in a rush. So there he lay, with a senseless wolf on a small isle of stone.
Blinking his golden eyes blearily Tora scrabbled to further cover his companion and offer his own body heat. Hopefully when the younger male awoke he’d be in good enough shape to walk. Tora, himself, wouldn’t mind a little nap… But falling asleep in the bitter cold was a foolish thing, not to mention the possibility of other predators. So despite his bodies weary want for rest he forced himself back awake each time he began to doze using whatever means necessary. Gnawing his own paw, for example.
When a rosy dawn finally appeared long after it would have sent warming waves of heat over the rest of the world, for the sun had to climb over the peaks of the mountains Tora felt the wolf he’d draped his large body across shifting with groaning protests. Shoving a large paw against the rocky ground Tora rolled his body off the younger male who sat up slowly, yawning and smacking his chops like he’d just had a peaceful night in his mother’s den.
Suddenly the younger wolf started at the sight of the big male with his bloodied forepaws, and his silver-white body silhouetted against the decimated background of the mountain side.
"Whoa!" the youngster yelped. "What happened?!"
Tora curled his lip in resignation. "Nothing you couldn’t sleep through." He sighed out in a slightly hoarse voice, once again causing the youngster to start in surprise.
"How do we get down? I want off this place, I don’t like it!" The other wolf whined looking at him imploringly, as though trying to find sympathy for some imagined plight.
For a moment Tora wondered if he’d been sane in saving the whelp, then he smothered a grimace with his tight control, and stood up. Limping passed the whelp, whom he knocked aside with a shove of his shoulders, and stepped carefully onto the shale field on the other side. It’d be a hard way, they’d probably fall and slide most of the way down, but that was the way of it. Least they were still breathing.

Your Wolf's Name: Koneko Quick Summary of Personality: From Profile Quiet and Mysterious; no one can ever be quite sure what Koneko is thinking or doing. She does as she is told without question and without conflict of lip. Her first loyalty lies to her half brother, Tora; whom she can barely been seen far from, as if she relies on him for protection. She has a high will, and does not accept failure. She will continue at a task until it is completed, no matter the cost. She does not make a sound and has never been recorded to have ever made a growl, let alone a howl.
Wished Position: Any is fine.
Quick Scenario: You are in the desert.
Koneko’s fur seemed to stick to her body as if it had melted to her skin. Her jaws gaped open and her tongue was inches from dragging in the scorching grains of sand. Her nose had become cracked and dry from the relentless rays of the sun but it was still in better condition then her poor pads. She wasn’t even sure she had anything left to them; it certainly didn’t’ feel like it.
Behind her she could hear the soft, nearly lifeless whimpers of the pup that had followed her. It wasn’t even walking anymore, so much as dragging itself along her already made track. Her eyes were just about glued shut from the mucus that had been her eyes’ futile attempt and keeping the sand out. The young female’s nose was bleeding and her breathing shallow. Koneko was a good four yards ahead and soon she’d not even be able to smell the weak thing, let alone be able to glance over her shoulder at it. It would slow her down, hinder her ability to save herself. Still, something tugged at her compassionate side.
Slowly the blonde wolf turned to face the pup. She did not walk back, no that was a waste of her energy. Instead she waited for the whelp to stumble to her. Koneko was not one to speak, she never really did. Instead she tugged the pup up into her jaws by the scruff of her neck; she was harsh and uncaring but that did not matter. She then began to walk again, her breath now coming heavier from her nose as she was not able to pant. A soft relieved sigh from the youngster gave Konkeo a feeling of satisfaction; even if it was going to take longer getting out of hell now.
Age of Your Wolf: Three years.

Your Wolf's Name: Lime Baby Quick Summary of Personality: Lime Baby is a little rascal, she lies to play jokes and have some fun. She can be hyper and mischievous, which often gets her in trouble, though when she has to be serious, she will. She is an intelligent wolf, she can understand the humans, though, she does not like to make it known. She is easily offended, but is very talkative.
She is quick on her feet, but small. She stopped growing at age 2. She has small muscles. You will sometimes see them ripple as she moves. She has beautiful features, and is always a worker. She will never disobey orders. She was once a sled wolf, so she can pull heavy loads. Wished Position:whatever you wish is my command, lol Quick Scenario: Needs to be three paragraphs; no less. Lime moved slowly, tenderly. Her pads were cracked and bleeding, and it hurt to walk. Last time she checked them, they had made her look taller, but now they were as good as dead. Her small legs kept her at the pace of a pup she did not know. While she was traveling they just seemed to, click and he had been with her ever since. Suddenly, she felt a tough tug on her tail. She yelped with pain, and looked to see what it was. She shook her head but had to laugh in spite of the scene. The pup had latched his jaws onto her tail, and she was dragging him along. She wanted to ask him what he was doing, but that would be a waste of breath. She looked up ahead of herself. Her eyes flew open with amazement and pleasure. There was a flourishing forest and in it she could see the stream of a waterfall. She began to run, not caring that her paws were bleeding. She just wanted herself and the pup to live. The pup... THE PUP!! She stopped running at once and looked back. He was still on her tail, but now his coat was bleeding, the rocks had shredded his skin, staining it a look of pink. She whined to him, and told him to let go. He did as he was told. She turned around, her bloody paw prints a fresh mark in the orange sands. She turned, and thought, wasting delicate time. She knew there was only one choice, but she could hurt herself if she lifted him. She thought hard, and finally concluded. She would just have to hurt herself. She bent down, and picked him up by the scruff of his neck. She held him tenderly but tightly. Already she had to strain. She began to kid, but his blood got into her mouth, and she stopped. She walked with her head held level, not wanting to put anymore strain upon herself. Finale, after what seemed like forever, she reached the shade. She sighed once more, and walked on, getting to the pool in no time. She was able to lengthen her stride because the duff on the ground was gentle to her raw paw pads. She dropped the pup softly, and jumped in the water. It was nice and cool, and soothed her. She came back for air, and drank some of the water. It was fresh and clear, and she thought, If salvation had a flavor, this would be itAge of Your Wolf: 3
